This is due to the fact that adequate attention is not given by the administration to avert such flood during rainy season by raising storage structures like ponds and reservoirs on a long-term approach. The areas nearby the hills are more prone to such flash floods and they become regular devastating event every monsoon season. Erecting such barricades the water can be put in to use besides preventing damages.
