However, the real work begins from here only. In a move to generate income from a website, potential traffic must be driven to the site. There are many successful techniques to create this web traffic that can be followed as part of a Search Engine Optimization strategy.

While all techniques may not be needed to take in as triumphant. But, some combination of most will certainly be required to generate traffic. Consider realizing these strategies: Good optimized content is required for search engine recognition, and update the site frequently. The search engines takes your website as an active not dead website, when updated regularly. Put in practice to update your website at least, monthly.

The following are some effective techniques you should implement:

• Do little alteration in content from time to time. These help to do regular update website.

• Modify contact, staffing and clientele information.

• Make sure that the links are active, and also keep changing the link text frequently that will be considered as a change to the page by search engine.

• Offer RSS feed to public that updated at hourly or daily basis.

• Manage good links that will result in an excellent weight given by the search engines for search positioning.

• Try to publish newsletter weekly, at least monthly.

How to get link popularity? You may find it boring, as it requires careful selection of the links, however, there are many means that can be implemented.

• Reciprocal Links: Find out relevant and websites that desire to exchange trade links.

• Anchor text: Create link text using appropriate keywords.

• Consider Page-Rank: Make out a link only with websites that have good Page- Rank (Websites at least having PR of 3).

• Enlist your website with web directories. You may select paid or free directory listings that are profitable to your website.

Keep in mind that developing a site is just beginning. Driving potential traffic to your website is the most significant work to be done. You will not be able taste the sweet fruits of success until you do hard work, spend the time and energy. You may hire someone to get the job done.

Far-off into the reaches of space is a beautiful blue planet we call earth. A creation to itself, but on a smaller scale. You see the rise and fall of ocean tides the cyclic patterns of nature to the sound of thunder when lightning smacks a shuttering bolt of electricity through the atmosphere. A gentle reminder that you are surrounded by the forces of nature, and deeply connected with them.

Let us now take a closer look and focus on you, the artist. As co-creator you feel the need to express your artistic endeavors. This need rises inside you like a fountain spring. -Appearing in many ways, in the creative arts such as visual song and dance. If not directed and nurtured correctly and given the freedom to grow, your need for expression could turn into a torrent of pain frustration and anxiety – a curse.

But it shouldn’t be, few realize their connectedness to the same power that is responsible for creating the stars in the heavens, that is lingering within you now. Without creativity there is no life or definite purpose no mystery or intrigue. You are the enigma. Your creativity fills the empty spaces on a gallery wall, the white pages of a book and defies gravity in dance on a stage. All the while feeding the void of emptiness in people’s hearts and minds to help ponder the great mysteries of the universe such as who am I? Where did I come from and where do I go?

You see not with your physical senses but with inner vision an intuition few experience. You are able to do this because you trust yourself. When you are exposed to new information you are able to judge that this information is valuable, or that information is not. The mysteries announce themselves to you in a language of silence igniting a fire deep inside you. Eventually to rise to the surface and allow you to take up your divine right as co-creator in a universe of unlimited potential.

Your art is your life and like the creator who is one with his creations, you are one with yours. And so here you are. An individual seeking to express your inner and most personal thoughts and wants through your Art. Your belief in a power that comes from within and how to tap that source of unlimited potential will decide your success as an artist in this world. This power you already have.

With few simple tips it is possible to take more advantage of your own equipment and increase the value of your own pictures.

1) Get closer to the Subject: 90% of the pictures are taking too far of the subject. Just step towards your subject and ensure that it fills completely your visor. It is never too close.

2) Use a tripod: take a light high quality tripod with you and use it! You will be able to capture more details of your subject and increase the sharpness, specially when taking scenic, architecture and landscapes.

3) Use the “Raw” mode of your digital camera: JPG pictures allows only 8 bit per channel, this means the information per channel is restricted and you may loose information when processing your picture later in your digital lab. RAW modes support the full range of your digital equipment and provides highly flexibility to re- process your pictures afterwords.

4) Use low ISO values: your digital camera is able to be setup to high ISO Values (ISO 500-1500), however the noise of the sensor will increase dramatically, needing also an intensive post-processing, i.e. using noise reduction filters. Use higher ISO values only when its unavoidable

5) Keep it simple: in photography less is more. Concentrate on the message you desire to capture and try to eliminate everything else. Keep your backgrounds simple and your main subject understandable without anything else that could disturb your clear message.

6) Bring profundity in your pictures. The world has three dimensions, but your pictures only two. A subject that looks great to your eyes may appear flat in your pictures. Play with diagonal elements crossing the picture, but with simplicity of lines.

7) Either Fore or Background: a typical beginner error is to try to capture fore and background on the same picture. This is the typical “tourist” picture in front of some touristic attraction. Decide if you would like to capture the fore- or the background and concentrate on one subject. Only by using extreme wide-angle lens and a good composition you can have both.
Discover hidden details: The world is infinite complex and contains innumerable details that are waiting to be captured by your lenses. Use telephoto lenses to bring to the audience what only you have discovered.

9) Don´t place your subject in the middle. Your pictures will be boring if everything is symmetric and the subject is exact in the middle. Apply the “golden section” of the “rule of the thirds”. Keep your composition balanced. Of course, extreme symmetry can be wonderful, if applied properly.

10) Unleash your creativity: once you have carefully applied the rules 1-9, forget them and start using creative photography. Don´t use tripod and move your camera intentionally in order to get bluer pictures, play with high ISO values and extreme perspectives, extreme light situations and unusual subjects. You will be a great photographer.

We have all seen them in a movie or a TV show, those very cool shots where they speed up time and capture a long segment of time and condense it into a very short amount of video. My very favorite example of this technique was an arty movie of many years ago. In that movie they had some very interesting segments where they did time lapse effects to show driving on a bridge, flowers growing, clouds flying by and so on. Another example is many of the TV news stations nowadays have a camera that captures the day’s weather and then they process it down to a 20 second clip to show the clouds and weather racing by on screen.

Well this technique is not just a tool in the hands of the movie makers or the big TV stations. You can do this with your digital video camera gear too. I will go into two ways that you can accomplish this effect and get some cool results for your next video project. This one is worth playing around with in order to find the right settings to get the most dramatic effect.

Technique number one is to use the camera itself to do the time lapse recording for you. Almost all digital video cameras have the ability to do an interval recording. What this means in a nutshell is that you tell the camera how long you want to record for and how long in between recordings and it will go on autopilot for you for as long as the battery lasts or the tape runs out. This is what those cameras at the convenience store do, they record a few seconds of motion every 30-60 seconds giving the overall view of the traffic in the store over time.

Now if you want to capture some time lapse in your digital video camera you will need to get into your cameras menu and find Interval Recording (or in my case Int Rec, as I use a Sony PD 150 for my camera) When you select this option you will decide how long of an interval between shots you want and how long to record each time. If you are trying to capture something that takes a long time to occur and in which not much happens quickly you will want to set the interval at around a minute and the record time as short as possible on your camera. An example would be if you wanted to record a day in the life of a flower or the clouds rolling by in the sky. Suppose however that you want to capture an event that has lots of action and occurs over a much shorter time frame. Then you would want to shorten the interval between recordings and increase the time of each recording. So in this case you might record every 15-30 seconds and record up to 2-3 seconds of video each time.

I used this technique to capture an afternoon of work being done by a team of carpenters on my house remodeling project. The result was a flurry of activity as workers raced hither and yon nailing boards, carrying equipment and building walls. I have added it to my photo collection of the project. (Hey I had to live through the project so I might as well have a great record of it for posterity!)

Now suppose you have one of the great software video editing packages on your computer to work with your digital video camera. Now you can do it in post as they say in the business. You can record any length of video you want (subject to the limitations of your tape length) and then import it into your editing program.

These are all great programs and are very powerful products that can create some very professional looking videos. You don’t have to have these products to create your own videos but if you are serious about digital video editing it might be a good idea to take a look at these options.

I digitize my raw video of the scene I am doing time lapse on into my computer (big hard drive, video eats up GB’s of space) and then import the clip into my time line. You can select the clip with a right click. From there you will be given a menu with options depending on the software you use. Select the option that says “duration”, “speed” or something similar. Change the speed of the clip so that time will speed up considerably. If you have an hour of video in the clip and want to shorten it to 2 -5 minutes then you need to increase the speed of the clip to 3 or 4 thousand percent of normal. This will require your software to render the clip at the higher speed and may take some time top process depending on the speed of your computer.

Once you have rendered the video clip at the new speed you will want to play it to see if the movie flows evenly or if you will want to readjust the speed setting to make it better. Sometimes you may want to shorten your raw video and adjust the speed down somewhat in order to get a smooth flow of action. Once you have rendered the clip at the new speed you can now cut and splice it as you see fit with the speed up action intact. There are some things you will record that might only need a slight speed change, take for instance some digital video of your kids playing sports. Double or triple the speed of the clip and show it to them and you might have them rolling on the floor.

You can also use these techniques to capture the growth of a flower or plant over the course of days or weeks. Simply set you camera in exactly the same place at the same time each day and record an interval that works each day fro however long you want to document. May be you get the seedling just breaking soil and follow it all the way through turning into a full grown plant.

Another interesting idea is to capture the path of the moon across the night sky. Set up your camera on a tripod in a spot that can see the path of the moon for several hours. Set the camera to interval record and put the moon on one side of the frame so that it will pass across the frame as the night passes. This one may require some testing in order to get the exposure and framing right as well as the right interval to record at. Most likely you would want to set the interval as long as you can and the record time as short as you can but do a test run first to see what works.

I can’t stress enough that using your digital video camera can be great fun and you can achieve some cool results. Play around and test. You just might find yourself creating some very creative digital video to share with the rest of the world.

Until recently, we have been living in a Third Dimension reality, defined by what we know as width, length, and height. What we could see is what we would believe. In this dimension we are bound by time and our ego feels separated from the whole. We were, in fact, believing an illusion as limited by the logical perceptions of our mind.

This is often referred to as our state of being asleep in consciousness, having forgotten who we truly are as we came to this planet of life. We are now in a time of awakening, a time of remembering, as the old belief systems that we are limited beings is expanding with the consciousness of truth.

In the Third Dimension our minds are detached from our hearts. Our logical thinking has dominated our living out of balance with our feeling natures, out of touch with the heart center where we experience the feeling of love. We are focused on material concerns. Many people experience this as living as human doings instead of human beings. The “being” part, of course, is a greater sense of our place in the world, a sense of purpose, a sense of connection, a sense of freedom.

The heart is the center of our being, the core connection between our physical body and our higher communication centers. As we are being urged to be more heart-centered, our ego self is being transformed to a greater understanding that we are all part of the whole. Many people have experienced a sense of separation, even when they are in crowds, a feeling of letting go of the familiar, and uncertainty and fear as the new paradigm for living is in the process of development. Every one of us is participating in the evolution of life on this planet now. There is a growing sense of deep longing for connection, often described as a longing for “home”.

Many describe a feeling that their passion is gone, a sense that they are destined for something greater, a general feeling of a lack of fulfillment or a knowing that something is missing from their lives. Many have a sense of disorientation, frustration or fear in this place of “not knowing” what is going on and what is going to happen. Our logical minds have always felt comforted in knowing and yet now we are in a time of change.

With the new energies that have been presented on the planet and the collective consciousness advancing, we opened our hearts to a new sense of longing to be connected and to live a life of some greater destiny. Most of us have been playing small, and it is now time for us to claim our power. The internet, which provides almost everyone with a global connection, is symbolic of our intention to be connected as a global community. This was a powerful demonstration of our desire to experience the “whole”.

This is the time for the balance of our masculine and feminine natures. This is the time to reclaim the balance of our lives between work, play, self, and others. This is the time to recognize that as we evolve with the balance of our selves, we are activating a powerful awakening that will create the balance of our homes, communities, and global connections.

We are here to be a part of the grand Earth experiment for the evolution of this planet and as we participate more fully, more consciously, we are speeding up the process to move more completely into the Fifth Dimension and beyond.
